"The Returns Retrospective"

At right, a hand painted banner advertising "The Returns Retrospective." This show was jointly organized by the Polish National Museums and the U.S. Embassy. The first stop for the touring show took place at the coveted Czartoryski Collection of the National Museum of Cracow, Poland (home of da Vinci’s Lady with Emine). Held in tandem with the Cultural Congress celebrating the end of the Cold War in Europe.

On the left, Avanti, on the right Invasion. Both works are based on prints, and were on the "most dangerous list" of Polish Communist censorship in the mid-1970's.
